Day 21 was filled with fear and "what if" questions. Poor LiL Knee is definitely infected - the lower incision opened up early this afternoon and is still not closed. LiL Knee has been in need of a lot of attention, so we got some friends (well technically "stuffies") together for a lil get well party :)
I have to stay focused and keep my chin up even though I'm angry and frustrated at yet another road block in my way. I am learning the hard way that maybe this is the only way for God to get through to me...maybe I need to stop talking about slowing down and taking care of me and actually do it. It's time. I need to let myself just be. I need to stop doing and just breathe.
